About the Program

Municipal Public Art programs in the West Valley and WESTMARC are partnering to provide unique, site-specific art projects made by local artists throughout the West Valley. The program connects West Valley cities and residents to arts and culture resources, highlights the abundance of arts and culture activities and opportunities in the West Valley, and provides mentorship for local artists to enter the field of public art.

How To Apply

We are now accepting applications for our first year of iHOLA! Applicants must be artists or artist teams from Arizona. Six artists will be selected as part of this year’s cohort, and awarded $10,000 to create a temporary artwork in the West Valley. The deadline to apply is October 1, 2024 @ 11:59 p.m. (Arizona Time). If you are interested in applying, please review the complete Request for Qualifications Guidelines below.
